Specialty

My specialty is helping people recover from injuries (especially from car accidents) as well as prepare for and recovery from surgery. For personal injury cases, I have the experience and skill to help you navigate the paperwork jungle. For a surgery case, I communicate with surgeons about the massage treatment designed to support their work. About a third of my practice consists of helping these clients who are using massage as an injury recovery tool.

The rest of my clients are using massage on a regular basis for health maintenance and stress management. Rather than living crisis to crisis, maintenance clients have learned to use massage as a part of their health regime to prevent the accumulated detrimental effects of prolonged stress and pain.

For whatever reason you choose to work with me, you can expect customized massage sessions that focus on your health and/or recovery goals. In October 2008 I moved my cozy, inviting treatment room to the Numinosity Wellness Center which benefits you by giving you easy access to other fabulous health care providers who can also help you meet your goals for living a healthy, joyful and abundant life.

Continuing Education for Massage Practice
Learning new techniques, theories, and perspectives helps any massage therapist improve his or her practice. The focus of my studies has been learning how to help people with injuries & pain as well as business development. For example I have taken classes such as “orthopedic” massage, “soft tissue release”, and lymph drainage. I am currently enrolled in the Business Development class at the Small Business Development Center with some of my Numinosity colleagues. In the Fall I plan to begin my craniosacral studies.

  • Pre-paid packages of 3 or 6 sessions (call for current rates).
